Ash Radford Ash Radford Lisbon This Spring, the mercurial British singer-songwriter Ash Radford releases his third EP ‘pagan roman daydream’. An emotive dreamscape, recorded at a remote studio reached only by boat from the Cornish coast, with band members from indie wonders Nilufer Yanya and Puma Rosa, and visionary producer Moses van den Bogaerde. The record marks a pattern of subtle reinvention in Ash’s musical output, leading on from the unplugged seaward sway of his debut EP ‘How Well Do You Know This Place’, and the analogue Tarantino-esque swagger of Terra Santa, graced with the mystic drive of Jeff Buckley drummer Matt Johnson. Both earlier EP’s were produced by Rohin Brown (Dope Lemon/The Walking Who), and he features again on this 3rd offering, with a touch of rambunctious genius on the first and third singles. Ever the nomad, Ash lives between The New Forest in the English countryside and the wild south-west of Portugal where he oversees the re-wilding of a valley hit by the recent wildfires, alongside a long term project to create an artists’ nature retreat. Let Ash’s music take you on a journey of astral visions and ocean adventures.
